The Putzi recipe with a mild foaming agent, which is specially tailored to the delicate mucous membranes of children, does not contain any ingredients that could cause problems if swallowed. For this reason, only the currently dental recommended child-friendly fluoride content (500 ppm) was used. 
 
Putzi is intended for cleaning beginners up to school entry. The sweetness (without sugar) and aroma were chosen so that children like to use the toothpaste without being encouraged to swallow.

The product has been developed in cooperation with children and tested in kindergartens.
